• Zoning: the application and demarcation in big open spaces. In multifunctional spaces like office gardens carpet tiles help keep oversight. Defining sitting or lounge areas, flex spaces, coffee corners and meeting spaces is child’s play. For example by creating optical division lines with the use of line play and variation in the use of color. With a potential rearrangement the pattern simply changes along. The carpet tiles can also be placed adjacent to an existing carpet to put some accents.
• The creation of a ‘woven effect’. By installing carpet tiles of one and the same design perpendicular to each other a woven structures results. The direction of the thread this way forms a unique woven pattern for an optical 3D effect.
• A retro look with ‘pixel art’. With some imagination carpet tiles look somewhat like enlarged pixels. Nowadays pixel art has built a huge fan base. A nostalgic pixel look of existing images makes every floor playful.
