Top 3 favorite prints in the interior

Prints are a powerful way to create distinctive interiors and a unique experience. Despite the personal nature of the designs we work on at our custom printing label Prints van Oranje, there are a number of prints we remarkably often see pass by. Sometimes with variations in style, shape or color but all clearly around a specific topic. What are frequently requested prints at the moment and what trends can be discovered? Asking around amongst our designers and interior specialist resulted in a top three of the most popular prints in the interior.

Stylish marble

Marble has made its comeback. Not just as a material, but also as print the lifelike stone does well. With its unique, exclusive appearance, marble creates an instant feeling of luxury. Perfect for the decoration of high-quality interiors, like in hotels, restaurants, stores, reception areas or simply at home. Due to the calming natural patterns with flowing lines, marble fits practically everywhere. Apart from the lifelike marble structures we also see a lot of variants with an inflated pattern or different colors, the so-called colored marble. Ideal, since this way the marble trend can perfectly be integrated into your personal interiors, whatever your style or interior theme.

GO WILD

Where animal print before where seen as tacky and had a negative association, anno 2021 this hasn’t been the case for a long time. Animal prints have been hot for some time and by now are completely acceptable to use in the interior. Not just at home, but also in professional interiors the animal print completely belongs. Popular prints at the moment are leopard, panther and tiger patterns. But also the zebra and dalmatian print is in demand. From wallcovering and floor rugs to furniture fabrics and accessories, animal prints are suitable for everything. Also nice: a (stair) runner with an animal print as a stylish eye catcher. Besides the true-to-life patterns and colors, we also see a lot of variety in a more graphical representation and booming colors.

Say it with flowers

Flower and nature prints have become a part of our interiors. Not surprising, who doesn’t like to get nature into their home after all? Furthermore, the flower print can be applied in many different ways; from enlarged minimalistic pattern to a more refined botanic design and from powerful deep colors to soft and light (pastel) tones. We also still see a lot of exotic executions in colorful jungle prints. Whether it’s on the floor, against the wall, in front of the window or on furniture, with a flower print you can let your interior speak and rooms get a natural atmosphere.
