The British flooring manufacturer Amtico has expanded its Form collection with new, authentic wood and stone looks that know unlike any other how to capture the natural nature of real wood and stone. By examining the smallest details of natural wood and stone, the Amtico design team has managed to create a beautiful palette of tones and textures resembling characteristic patterns shaped by nature, like grain formation and weathering.

CHARACTERISTIC WOOD AND STONE LOOKS

The renewed Form collection has been completed with 18 new oak wood looks and 2 new stone patterns, reflecting the changing trends in real wood and stone. The characteristics and natural imperfections of real wood and stone are not being avoided but emphasized, think of prominent grains, knots and cracks. The various new wood designs emit the natural character and the true charm of oak, ranging from light Scandinavian inspired tones and warm honey and golden accents to rustic wood structures and weathered looks. The stone patterns from the Form collection have a smooth surface structure reminiscent of fine ceramics, creating a tight, authentic appearance with a natural looking finishing. The new Ammonite, a light stone look with a minimalist design, and the new Char, a stone design with a classic slate look, form a beautiful contribution to the four already existing stone designs in the collection.

DISTINCTIVE LAYING PATTERNS

Besides the usual laying patterns like herringbone or stretching bond, for both the wood and stone designs there have been developed special laying patterns in which the specific details of wood and stone come into their own beautifully. For the wood design these are Chevron, Basket Weave, Broad Weave (new), Small Parquet and Large Parquet. For the stone designs it’s again Small Parquet and Large Parquet and the new Pavestone laying pattern. Ideal to create a distinctive design in big commercial spaces too with a remarkable natural floor.

SUITABLE FOR COMMERCIAL AREAS

By combining the look of real wood and stone with the practical properties of high-end LVT, Amtico Form is an ideal alternative for the use of real wood and stone in commercial areas. The floors have a top layer thickness of 0.7mm (PU) with an additional Quantum Guard Elite coating offering an antimicrobial protection. This wear- and stain-resistant finish also creates the beautiful, matted look with realistic appearance. Furthermore, Form planks and tiles are easy to install, clean and maintain. In addition, Form is produced with exclusively phthalate free and biological plasticizers and suitable to use in commercial areas for projects being built according to BREEAM, WELL or LEED.
