FLEXX: Welcome to the world of modular and sustainable design

LEOXX introduces FLEXX: a modular and sustainable carpet tile collection designed with respect for nature. This is reflected in the striking natural designs and colors and the use of sustainable and environmental-friendly materials. With the launch of LEOXX, LEOXX takes a next important step towards a sustainable future and the reduction of its environmental impact.

SUSTAINABLE AND ENVIRONMENTAL-FRIENDLY

FLEXX is the most sustainable carpet tile collection ever launched by LEOXX. The carpet tiles and planks distinguish themselves by their sustainable composition and use of materials. For instance, the entire collection is provided of an environmental-friendly backing and exempt of bitumen, latex and PVC. The yarns also have a sustainable origin or are manufactured according to sustainable procedures. A large number of qualities is made of sustainable Econyl yarns, a 100% recycled and recyclable fiber extracted from waste like old fishnets. Furthermore, mainly Solution Dyed yarn has been used, a water-saving and environmental-friendly painting technique which makes the carpet colorfast and UV-resistant. FLEXX floors are amongst others climate neutrally produced and GUT-certified. Thereby they are suitable for projects being built according to BREEAM and LEED.

NATURAL PATTERNS AND TEXTURES

The different materials, structures, textures, colors and dimension within FLEXX can be combined excellently for a distinctive floor design. The modular carpet tiles and planks are each inspired by patterns and textures from nature. From patterns with a weathered look and random pattern with interesting shadow play to designs with a linear pattern or powerful color accents in earthy tones. FLEXX breathes nature. Thereby the collection fits perfectly within interiors design according to the biophilic design principle and high well-being standards. The carpet tiles and plank align seamlessly and are easy to install due to their modular dimensions. A number of qualities can be installed without indicating direction. This reduces the cutting loss to a minimum.

COMPOSITION FLEXX COLLECTION

The FLEXX collection consists of multiple collection books filled with soft modular flooring inspiration. FLEXX no.1 and FLEXX no.2 are being released this fall. Complementary collection will follow from by mid 2023. In them can be found amongst others the new TEXRA jacquard woven carpet tiles, of which a sneak peek could be seen already at ARCHITECT@WORK Rotterdam.

FLEXX NO.1

FLEXX no.1 is a collection of tufted modular flooring. The multicolored carpet tiles and plank offer an endless amount of possibilities to create spaces that are different. FLEXX no.1 floors are provided with a Unit Back, an innovative and sustainable backing that’s odorless and exempt of latex, bitumen and PVC. Furthermore, this carpet tile collection is made of Solution Dyed yarn, a water-saving and environmental-friendly painting technique that makes the carpet colorfast and UV-resistant.

FLEXX NO.2

FLEXX no.2 is a collection of tufted modular flooring as well. The sustainable carpet tiles and planks offer an endless amount of possibilities for designing distinctive spaces. FLEXX no.2 floors are provided with an acoustic backing made of 100% recycled felt for improved acoustics and a sustainable future. Furthermore, this carpet tile collection is made of sustainable Econyl yarn, a 100% recycled and recyclable fiber extracted from waste like old fishnets.
