LEOXX launches renewed COLOR BOOKS

Two years after the last update, LEOXX launches its renewed collection wall-to-wall carpet and rugs in the new COLOR BOOKS. The collection is presented in five new colour books: REDS, GREENS, BLUES, BROWNS and GREYS. Unique in the market of soft carpets, the presentation of different qualities is bundled in colour groups. An ode to colour with an important role for the current colour trends in the field of interior.

The colour books of LEOXX have been a concept for over 25 years in the world of architecture and interior design. Architects, interior designers and project organizers value the colour books most of all for the ease to be able to switch within and between colour groups, structures and patterns. The COLOR BOOKS bundle the most beautiful products on colour with the intention to excite and inspire. A collection of soft carpets unmatched due to its broad colour offering specifically designed for the Dutch market.

Colour in the Main role

Hans ter Hart, general manager of LEOXX: “With COLOR BOOKS we offer interior architects and designers a unique tool for designing with soft carpet. Instead of the traditional, product oriented approach, COLOR BOOKS are created from a conceptual way of thinking where colour is leading. Because of this architects are not immediately bound to one specific quality, but we inspire from the separate colour groups with a lot of possibilities regarding structures, patterns and materials. This makes us unique in the market. The collection also combines effortlessly with the hard floor collections of LEOXX, giving (interior) architecture the possibilities to search for combinations there as well." 

Mutual combinability

Architect Joke van Kerschaver worked behind the scenes at the development of the new COLOR BOOKS. Joke: "With regard to colours, textures and choice of yarn; on all levels has been looked for the optimal combinability of the different qualities. This has resulted in a collection varying in colour of powdered tones to full, saturated colours. Flat woven qualities and tufted qualities with extremely subtle, fine structures to rough lush piles as well as low and high piled qualities. A very broad offer of uni and mixed, shining and mat yarns."

The Barcode, LEOXX' classic, has been included in the collection again in a completely renewed colour palette. This quality with unique barcode pattern is available in a combination of grey and powder tones on the one hand and more saturated colours on the other hand and perfectly combinable with other qualities from the collection.

Sustainability

The qualities in the COLOR BOOKS are CO₂-neutrally produced, formaldehyde-free, produced conform GuT-standards and suitable for projects built conform BREEAM or LEED. Most of them have a The Blue Angel, Indoor Air Comfort Gold or A+ certification, the highest score regarding a positive contribution to a healthy inner climate. A number of qualities is also made of the sustainable Econyl-yarn.
