ntgrate powered by LEOXX joins Office NXT at WorkPlace Xperience

At 16 and 17 April ntgrate® powered by LEOXX takes part in the WorkPlace Xperience in the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam, dedicated to a sustainable and healthy working environment. The leading brand in innovative woven vinyl flooring joins the stand of Office NXT, where multiple parties in the field of acoustics and interior design come together.

ACOUSTICS AND A HEALTHY WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Office NXT is an initiative by interior architect Saskia Beekmans and Rob de Haas. Saskia Beekmans is one of the five designers of the WorkPlace Xperience and gives shape to the theme ‘Acoustic Design’. With her contribution in this field, she wants to achieve for visitors to go home with a better understanding of acoustics and to understand how much impact this has on a space and its users. Saskia: “Everyone considers well-being in the workplace to be important. Yet subjects like acoustics are often skipped in the design. The fact that you often see acoustics being considered afterwards is a missed opportunity. With acoustics it is important to incorporate it in your process from the beginning. Otherwise, it’s not an investment but an expense.”

HYBRID DESIGN FLOORS FOR PLEASANT ACOUSTICS

The woven vinyl floors of ntgrate fit seamlessly to the theme of acoustic and they provide with their excellent acoustic characteristics an important contribution to the shaping of a pleasant comfortable and healthy working environment. With an impact sound insulation of 19 dB by default – with the optional acoustic Greenfelt backing it’s 22 dB – they are unique in the field of hybrid design flooring. An innovative floor solution which isn’t with its stylish jacquard woven pattern just a treat for the ear, but also for the eye.

A SECOND LIFE WITH RENTGRATE

For acoustics and sustainability to go hand in hand, is demonstrated by ntgrate powered by LEOXX at Office NXT with the circular concept REntgrate. This innovative reuse program makes reuse and return of the sustainably produced and recyclable vinyl floors for a second life possible. Due to the glue-free installation method with the help of the REntgrate tabs, you quickly disassemble the floor without leaving damages and you can trouble-free use it on a different location. This way, the floor covering becomes a flexible and sustainable design element that can be reused and recycled multiple times.

The WorkPlace Xperience is the annual meeting spot for knowledge transfer and innovation in the field of a healthy and sustainable working environment.
