On the road to zero waste with circular concept REntgrate

At the Belgian ntgrate®, sustainability is intertwined in the DNA. Besides sustainable business operations and production, the use of natural resources and recycling, the forward-thinking brand in woven vinyl flooring also strives for reuse. With the circular concept and reuse program REntgrate, it is taking an important step on the road towards a future with zero waste. 

CIRCULAR CONCEPT FOCUSED ON REUSE

REntgrate is a 100% circular solution. The concept is created around a revolutionary, glue-free installation method, which guarantees an easy reuse of your floor in a new location, without leaving damage to the subfloor. For this purpose, ntgrate developed the REntgrate tabs: special connector stickers with which you connect to woven vinyl tiles to each other without the additional use of glue. With it, these tabs make for a sustainable alternative to anti-slip without leaving glue residue to the subfloor and the ntgrate floor itself. This makes the tiles extremely suitable for reuse on a new location while leaving the subfloor at the old location intact. 

SUSTAINABLE MAINTENANCE AND A SECOND LIFE

To execute the REntgrate concept into detail, ntgrate has entered into a partnership for the Netherlands with LEOXX and its maintenance partner Duofort, who recently launched the initiative, RE-FLOR. In addition to offering a periodical maintenance lease, the maintenance expert developed a cleaning line with the capability of cleaning and drying large quantities of tiles. This life-extending method makes sure the floor stays in good shape and is ready to be reused or returned at any time for a new lease of life.
