new spaciousness after renovation

At the Orteliuslaan in Utrecht, Schola Medica is located, the education centre of the SBOH (Foundation Professional Education General Practitioners). In the existing office building 't Hart, a state-of-the-art accommodation of over 3.600 m², spreading over three floors, has been realised. The designers succeeded in turning the pretty standard office into a spacious environment offering room to all course-takers, teachers and employees. The floors got a new connecting staircase and the traffic areas were made to be broad lanes and squares. This leads to an almost automatic exchange of knowledge and experience between users.

colour markings with a playful effect

Throughout the entire premise lays one of LEOXX's favourites, the printing carpet Cross-stitch in Explore quality, easy in maintenance and a good acoustic choice. The different spaces are marked with each its own colour and these colours come back in the design of the carpet. The confetti-like effect of the cross-stitch print, here used in an enlarged form, creates a playful and vivid element in a tight interior.
