Medical Centre Borrendamme

an interior divided into areas 

Different care takes work close together at health care centre Borrendamme in Zierikzee. Because of its contribution to the well-being of people, architect Ron Schildkneght wanted to create a natural environment. Other starting points were accessibility, a calming pattern in the walking paths and a clear distinction in public and work areas. There has been created an open and warm atmosphere while keeping the own identity of the practitioners.

the ease of PVC with the look of nature

For the choice of floor finishing there were a few important conditions: sustainability, hygiene, serviceability and fire safety. This was found in the floors of LEOXX. Furthermore, the floors of LEOXX have very realistic, natural looking structures like wood, gravel and grass. Ron Schildknegt wanted the get the green from outside to the inside. With a grass carpet full of daisies in combination with different kinds of Expona designs there has been formed a spacious, soft, acoustically pleasant space, where children can also play safely on the ground.
