The carefully renovated building from the 17^th century has been stylishly decorated with modern accents and with the preservation of historical details. In a fancy but approachable atmosphere, guests can enjoy a lovely lunch, drinks, dinner, and relaxed overnight stay.

A PLACE TO COME HOME TO

Boutique Hotel Restaurant Ysbrantsz is located at the square the Roode Steen in the heart of Hoorn. With the small-scale and centrally located hotel, the owners Marco & Laura offer their guests a place to come home to. You can sit down for a cup of coffee, lovely dinner, a work meeting, or an overnight stay in one of the historical hotel rooms. The location is named after Johan Ysbrantsz, a warm-hearted restaurateur from the 17^th century. At the Roode Steen he welcomed guests for an overnight stay, he cooked meals with the herbs and spices brought by the sailors, and he received people with a home-brewed refreshment.

MODERN ROOMS WITH CARACTERISTIC DETAILS

The 17th-century building of the Ysbrantsz boutique hotel has been carefully renovated. You can see this in the modern and atmospheric rooms with high ceilings, wooden beams, light colors, and modern accents. Each hotel room is unique and has its own characteristic decoration and details. From the royal rooms with bath and a view on the garden to the rooms with a high ceiling and beautiful wooden beams; each and every decorated with a lot of attention and eye for detail.

SPEAKING PRINTS ON CARPET AND WALLCOVERING

Speaking prints on carpet and wallcovering contribute to a unique atmosphere in the boutique hotel. For the floor in the hotel hallways, the owners were looking for a real eye-catcher. After a thorough search, they choose a timeless black-white pattern that corresponds beautifully with the vintage furniture in the hotel. The graphic pattern, printed on carpet with a soft cut pile, contributes with its tight lines to the ‘modern chic’ feeling. In the elevator shafts and on the wall next to the bar adorns an artful print on wallcovering, that reminiscent in a contemporary and stylish way of the rich history of the location.
