Dutch architecture restored in its full glory

The Hotel Gooiland from the thirties has been beautifully renovated. It once was an icon of the Nieuwe Zakelijkheid (New Pragmatism), but the interior stylistically turned into a mess over the years. With the original construction drawings in hand, the original style, free from finery, has been reclaimed completely. Majestic and tight with a lot of light and openness, beautiful materials and design. It is the first Dutch Brand Hotel, decorated with traditional Dutch brands, including LEOXX.

a Grand hotel deserves grand carpets

The in 1936 built Grand Hotel Gooiland once was a vibrant meeting point in the middle of Hilversum. Thanks to entrepreneur Philip Lamers, this icon of the Nieuwe Bouwen (New Building) has been restored to its full glory. Nowadays it is a monumental building and that is for a reason. Architect Jan Duiker made his building stylish, tight and bright. The modest luxury, bathing in daylight, gives a welcoming feeling. This is amplified by the lush long piled Silky lounge rugs. They give a comfortable touch to the tightness.

Dutch pride in interior

Hotel Gooiland consciously chose for Dutch brands like Hema, Forbo, Mosa and Auping in its interior. An ode to Dutch creativity, just like the building itself. LEOXX provided its contribution to the warm and hospitable feeling in this beautiful, special hotel with the Silky lounge rugs for the lobby and hotel rooms.
