Kaboom Hotel

Just as different as it sounds

An interior in the spirit of the historical location, "but please don't turn it into a old-fashioned place", those where the wishes for the interior of this budget hotel in Maastricht. This worked out well thanks to the mixture of the, on classical flower wallpaper inspired, printing wallpaper, fresh white and functional furniture and all sort of funny accents. An interior requiring a neutral floor, found in Expona Domestic, a PVC floor with a wooden print.

A playful and comfortable hotel floor 

The floor is comfortable for the hotel guests, but also for the cleaners who have to be quick when cleaning the rooms. On purpose there was chosen for a variety which doesn't completely imitate a wooden floor. The designer explicitly wanted to be honest about the used material, which didn't necessarily had to look expensive; fake chic is not how he works. By laying a lighter strip along the plinths a darker hall rug was created. This makes the floor, just like the rest of the interior, classical with a twist.
