Niu Diary Hotel in Haarlem: a hotel with the theme dairy and music. Not an everyday combination, but a very special one. Vandevloeren approached Prints van Oranje to create a unique printing carpet inspired by cow(spots).

And with great success. The voluptuous shapes and the bright colors of the carpets form a perfect combination with the PVC-strips and the wallpaper in the hotel rooms and halls.

MiLK and music

How this remarkable choice for milk and music came into being? At the location of the hotel there first was a dairy factory ‘De Sierkan’. The music theme comes from the closely situated pop venue ‘het Patronaat’. Two themes being cleverly intertwined with each other. The white-blue design of the cow spots appears vivid next to the brightly colored furniture and wall decorations enriching the hotel.
