Via Via just a room in Leeuwarden is a special alternative to the standard hotel experience. As the name suggests, Via Via ‘just a room’ is not a traditional hotel. Through a unique do-it-yourself concept you yourself manage your stay and the corresponding service. And all of it without having to compromise on style of living or comfort.

FEELING OF HOME FOR THE INDEPENDENT TRAVELER

The hotel, located in the former PTT headquarters, consists of 74 comfortable and cleverly designed rooms. From there the independent traveler can explore the city and upon return experience the safe feeling of home. There is no staffed reception. Guests book their stay online and can ‘swipe’ open the front door and their own bedroom door through a web link. In the common living room, comfortable decorated with lovely couches, seats and lots of art, guests can nicely sit and relax. There is no traditional breakfast buffet, but a yogurt bar; the fresh yogurt guests can eat in the common living room or their own bedroom. Fresh coffee is available 24 hours a day in ‘just a shop’. Via Via is the ideal place for people who enjoy to be independent and self-reliant, without having to compensate on style of living or comfort.

CUSTOM HOTEL CARPET

For this unique hotel LEOXX was responsible for a number of beautiful custom carpet floors. These have been executed in the popular and versatile Silky lounge quality, through the custom printing label Prints van Oranje. In the common living room a carpet and a runner are placed. Both made to size in a special shape and with a custom print of their own logo which also comes back in other places of the interior. Furthermore, for the hotel rooms no less than 77 plain rugs of Silky Lounge have been manufactured. For these rugs an energetic and expressive color of blue has been chosen which perfectly corresponds to the applied color scheme.
