CONO Kaasmakers

CONO Kaasmakers is a cheese factory with a cheese storage, office and terrains. After the opening by Queen Maxima on the 13th of November 2014 the cheese factory won the award for the most sustainable and best commercial building of the Netherlands (ARC14).

The new office had to breathe both the history of the cooperation and the atmosphere of the unique environment. 

Specifically for the floors this meant they wanted to involve the lots in the surrounding polders in the floor design - designed by Hugo interieurvormgeving. The office floors looked like they were scaled from google earth by using different qualities and colours from the LEOXX color books.
