Enza Zaden

Enza Zaden develops vegetable varieties grown, sold an eaten all over the world. For the renovation of several rooms on their location in Enkhuizen the down to earth, global company in Noord-Holland wanted a professional, global and contemporary look. Christel Roelofs of Stijlbedrijf drew the design and placed a tasteful result with contemporary materials and an exciting choice of colour and materials.

dynamic mix of floors

The diversity in rooms with each specific functional and esthetical demands needed a dynamic mixture of floors. The bar was set high: there were high demands regarding quality and functionality of the floors due to intensive use by the 200 employees and many visitors. The versatile collection of quality floors of LEOXX matched this demand and delivered the wished contribution to the project in all aspects.

tasteful and sustainable

In the company restaurant, located in the Haling building, two stages have been created with informal sitting corners and meeting places. The stages are covered with PVC and rugs from the REused collection of LEOXX. This unique series of recycled rugs, made from residual material, is an excellent match to the mission of Enza Zade, where sustainability is an important factor.

Besides the restaurants, the conference rooms, located in the Haling building as well, have also been tackled. In these rooms, amongst others used for educational purposes, the carpet tile Sand from the FleXX^eco collection in anthracite and green have been used.  Flexx^eco carpet tiles are produced with Econyl-yarn, a 100% recycled and recyclable fibre. Christel: "This tile is user-friendly strong and sustainable with a calm, but because of the drawing dynamic look."

Global executive office

Not just the rooms in the Haling building got a make-over. The Oosterdijk building with different rooms like offices, hallway zones, pantries and general informal areas has also been renewed. The place has been completely renovated and restyled to a new contemporary executive office with a professional, global look. One of the carpet tiles on this office is the Fields from the FleXX^eco collection, with a design inspired by the landscape of fields and lands. 

The whole is a beautiful mix of hard floors and carpet tiles considerably matched together. By using wood and choosing exciting colours and materials, warm, dynamic and atmospherical rooms have been realised, where employees and visitors can work, learn, come together and relax.
