Hermans & Schuttevaer Notaries Advisers Mediators

a contemporary Notary office

The switch of location was a good opportunity for the Utrecht notary office to modernise to interior. The dynamic team does not fit the stereotype image of notaries and this could be shown in the interior. With a lot of white and open work spots, the space has been kept fresh and bright. The maintenance friendly materials have a cool yet chic look: wood, concrete and a beautiful parquet-looking floor. The modern printing carpet Explain and the rugs of REused give the tight unity a soft touch.

openness with pleasant acoustics

The open work spots demand something from the acoustics. The floor can give a positive contribution and this is what the combination of Expona and the loose rugs does here. Even though Expona looks like a wooden floor, the sound on impact is a lot less than with a real wooden floor. The soft carpets also break the sound and make the moving and rolling of chairs soundless. This way the open space is pleasant for eyes and ears and a nice place to work in.
