Warm and colorful office with character

Blokker Holding has expanded its head quarters in Amsterdam Zuidoost. The wish for the interior was to create a nice working place that stimulates collaboration and emphasizes the familiar atmosphere within the company, with a big wink to toys. The project regarded the main entrance, work spots on all 4 floors, the restaurant and 12 thematic meeting rooms. In total the project consisted of 4700 m². As floor Expona was chosen, a beautiful, practical PVC floor. This floor, that looks like a wooden floor, is a beautiful unambiguous foundation for the colourful interior, in colour palettes changing with each floor. The warm wooden tint is a big addition to the homely atmosphere.

Conference rooms with a theme

The concept is based on the feeling of 'a loft house where children are playing'. Thematic rooms serving as conference rooms, are based on how children experience the world and give a playful effect to the interior. There is for example a 'princess room' and a 'treehouse'. The floors of these rooms are all in the style of each theme. For example a grass green carpet turning the room into a Dutch meadow, giving the opportunity of playing outside within the office.
