Imkey Breda

Imkey's office is located on a beautiful floor in an authentic premise in the city centre of Breda. The space is spaciously designed with beautiful natural light entering from three sides. The office offers both room for relaxing and working. Thanks to a thoughtful layout and with the use of some 'smart' elements, interior designer Esther Canisius created the perfect balance.

calmness aNd PRIVACY

An office garden layout often lacks privacy and 'cover'. Because of that, a too big space can feel uncomfortable and uneasy. At Imkey's calmness and privacy has been created on the workplaces using room dividers. The transparent design and the natural light make sure to not get a closed-in feeling and keep the open and light character of the room.

lots of green

Many plants, was the client's wish. The stylish room divider offer many opportunities for them. Central in the room is a custom-made (artificial) tree with a real trunk. The plants hanging from the ceiling of the conference room and above the yellow lunch table complete the green atmosphere. On request the lunch table and the accompanying stools were put in bright yellow.

Connecting Rug

The rug of 9 meters long forms the connection between the big yellow table and the lounge sitting corner. Esther: "I wanted to let the colours of the furniture come back in the crosses on the rug. Underneath the table crosses form a tight pattern, which marks the (static) position of the table. This pattern fades to the lounge part in a random scatter pattern. Because the lounge elements don't have a fixed place, I purposely did not chose for a tight pattern. The crosses are getting less dense towards the edges of the rug."
