Zayaz

The office of housing corporation ZAYAZ is a uniquely sustainable building. It has been shaped open and flexible, matching the principles of the New Working. LEOXX delivered the floor: a playful Cross Stitch with various stitched patterns. 

Mark your zone

The three floors of the building have their own colour composition coming back in the carpet and the furniture upholstery. The floor is a wall-to-wall carpet with a playful pattern. Special to see is how the stitches of the Cross Stitch floor carpet have been used to mark a number of areas. In these areas we find specially designed furniture for specific use, like accessible non-assigned work spots, open collaboration spots, break out pantries, lockers and copy equipment. This way the floor adds to the functionality of the interior in a unique way.

Climate ceilings

Sustainability was a central factor in the office design. The window frames, the floor and the roof have been well isolated. An air-sourced heath pump, PV panels and a green roof add to the sustainability of the building. New climate ceilings improve the inside climate and the brightness level.

The old furniture is mainly being reused. The Cross Stitch floor fits perfect with this sustainable design. The floor is free of formaldehyde, produced climate neutral and GuT-certified. 

ZAYAZ is with over 13.000 houses the biggest housing corporation in 's-Hertogenbosch. The exterior and the interior of the office building were design by BiermanHenket.
