Zuidweg Oogcontact

With the move to their own facility to the Brederodelaan in Papendrecht, it was time for a completely new store design that perfectly suits optician’s shop Zuidweg Oogcontact. The result is a spacious store with a unique and distinctive interior. Bold and hotel chic with an eclectic mix of shapes, colors, textures, and patterns. But also, warm and domestic with eye for real contact.

COLORFUL AND SURPRISING INTERIOR

Interior designer Lisa Mulder of interior design agency Vorm Martini: “When Diana Zuidweg ask us to help her with the design of the interior of her new premise, she already knew well what she wanted in terms of atmosphere and feeling. Different from other optic stores, colorful, matching to her as a person and to the store. The paradise bird flower and peacock feather were a source of inspiration for the interior. There are many surprising elements to be found: contrasts between graphic and organic shapes, different textures, and subtle nuances. The tiles with black-white printing for instance flow almost seamlessly into floor covering with identical printing. A fun collaboration with LEOXX and if you ask us with an amazing result!”

HiGH-END PRINTING QUALITY

The design for the floor covering has been executed on a high-end printing quality of Prints van Oranje, the custom printing label of LEOXX. The choice was made for a soft frisé, printed 100% fill color, making the graphic black and white stand out crystal clear. Because of this, the carpet can hardly be distinguished from the real black and white tiles located at the entrance. It goes without saying that the printing carpet is suitable for commercial use and with usage class 33 it can easily handle the intensive use and walking traffic in a retail environment.
