A healthy learning environment has a positive effect on the well-being and the performances of students and teachers. A safe and clean environment with enough attention for a healthy indoor climate leads to a reduction of health complaints, better school performances and lower sick leave amongst teachers. But also the way in which schools on all sorts of levels are designed contributes to better performances.
