Our LVT floors for transportation for instance are labelled in a high rigidity class with an anti-slip value of R10. When it comes down to fire safety, both our hard and soft floors with fire class Bfl-s1 help to create a fire safe environment.

Especially for the maritime sector there are the IMO SOLAS- and MED-certified floors from the Amtico Marine collection. This collection is developed according to the strictest demands the industry poses and has endured the toughest tests in the field of flammability and toxic smoke development. The floors are provided with a special antimicrobial technology. This creates a hygienic surface on which bacteria and mold can hardly multiply or survive in between cleanings.

For additional protection there are the LVT floors of Amtico. These floors, with top layer thicknesses varying from 0.55 mm to 0.7 mm and 1.0 mm (PU), are provided with the unique Quantum Guard Elite-urethane coating. To this coating ionic silver has been added for a hygienic surface reducing the growth of bacteria and mold with 99% during 24 hours. This way the floors stays clean and fresh in between the regular cleanings and the risk of the spread of pathogens stays low.
